Hide/Seek

Hide/Seek

Hide/Seek is a multimedia, flute and electronics performance inspired by the existential process. Each piece on the program is inspired by the search for identity and paired with a quote from philosophy that discusses this subject.

This is performance is a collaboration with Tapp's Arts Center, video designer Michael Shoppell, and sound designer Chris Johnson.

The abstraction>> series is an improvisatory performance collaboration between John Kammerer (laptop) and Philip Snyder (flute). Philip sonically interprets a select piece of literature, and John captures the result, looping, stretching, and shifting the audio into an expansive and evolving soundscape
